Axis beats with swing to operating profit in Q4
Axis Capital recorded a big swing in operating profit to $182mn in 2021’s fourth quarter while the company’s combined ratio fell 16.5 points to 93.1 percent in results that president and CEO Albert Benchimol said provided further evidence that efforts to reposition the (re)insurer’s portfolio are working.
