Australia’s insurers welcome A$741mn Queensland resilience pledge
The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has welcomed a pledge by the Queensland government to provide A$741mn ($511mn) in additional funding to better protect the state’s homes and communities from the impacts of extreme weather.
