Australia’s insurers welcome A$200mn resilience funding bill

Australia’s federal government introduced a disaster fund proposal to parliament on Wednesday which will see A$200mn ($136mn) allocated annually for disaster prevention and resilience, in a move welcomed by the country’s insurance sector.
