Ark delivers 88.8% CR in Q2 as GWP jumps 50% to $606mn
White Mountains-backed Ark reported a second quarter combined ratio of 88.8 percent as it grew its top line from $404mn of gross written premiums to $606mn, with the carrier’s CEO Ian Beaton pointing to risk-adjusted rate increases of 21 percent in the period.
