Arch UW income surges 35% to $535mn in Q2, boosted by $166mn reserve release
Underwriting income at Arch Capital soared by 35 percent to $535mn in the second quarter, as profits in the insurance segment nearly doubled, to $98mn, and the reinsurance unit grew underwriting income by 45 percent to $139mn.
