Arch to pay $450mn cash for Allianz US midcorp and entertainment books in $1.8bn deal
Arch Insurance North America is set to significantly expand its US middle market footprint after agreeing to pay $450mn in cash to acquire the US midcorp and entertainment businesses of Allianz, operations that collectively generated $1.7bn of gross premium written in 2023.
