AM Best: UW performance improvements for S/SEA reinsurers will not offset inflationary pressures
The prolonged impacts of inflation on the underwriting performance of South and Southeast Asian (S/SEA) reinsurers could eclipse any improvements from higher investment yields, making it harder to meet the cost of capital, said AM Best in a market segment report.
