AM Best: US P&C UW income up 28% as combined ratio improves 0.8 pts in H1

The US property casualty industry improved its underwriting income by 27.9 percent, its combined ratio by 0.9 points and its pre-tax operating income by 14.1 percent, according to AM Best.
