AM Best: US MPL market remains “difficult” after posting 8th straight UW loss in ’22
AM Best has said US medical professional liability market conditions remain “difficult” as the segment continues to deal with rising claims severity, social inflation and higher reinsurance costs, after reporting its eighth straight underwriting loss in 2022.
