AM Best: Unfunded US A&E liabilities down to $9bn at year-end 2021
The industry has funded 94 percent of its aggregate US asbestos and environmental (A&E) exposures, which translates into an unfunded liability of approximately $7bn for asbestos and $2bn for environmental, according to a new report from AM Best.
