AM Best turns negative on Swiss Re’s credit citing casualty woes
AM Best has affirmed Swiss Re’s A+ (Superior) financial strength rating with a stable outlook, but changed the outlook on the reinsurer’s “aa” long-term issuer credit rating (ICR) to negative from stable.
