AM Best responds to Economical’s demutualisation and IPO move
Canada’s Economical Mutual Insurance Company’s A- financial strength rating has been left unchanged by AM Best after the carrier’s newly formed parent Definity Financial Corporation revealed plans to transition to a publicly traded stock company with cornerstone investment from Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan and Swiss Re.
