AM Best goes negative on US homeowners segment as UW losses mount
AM Best has revised its outlook on the US homeowners segment to negative from stable amid continued elevated natural catastrophe losses in the first half of 2023, with a return to underwriting profitability over the near term appearing “highly unlikely”.
