AM Best: Flood losses will add pressure to “tougher” next Australia reinsurance renewal
Reinsurers are likely to bear the brunt of losses from the Australia flood season, estimated at over A$2.5bn ($1.87bn) so far, with insurers likely to find pricing and conditions tougher at their next renewal, AM Best has commented.
