AM Best downgrades then withdraws EMC Re ratings after exit news
Following the announcement that EMC is exiting the assumed reinsurance business, AM Best has downgraded EMC Reinsurance Company’s financial strength rating to B++ (Good) from A (Excellent) and then withdrawn them at management’s request.
