AM Best downgrades Mercury on Cali wildfire losses
AM Best has downgraded the Financial Strength Rating and Long-Term Issuer Credit Ratings of Mercury Casualty Group on the back of the insurer’s exposure to wildfire losses and significant market concentration in California.
