AM Best: Canadian P&C consolidation to continue “at a fairly rapid pace”
M&A in the Canadian property casualty market will continue at a fairly rapid pace and have an uneven impact, AM Best has suggested in a new report, while the market produced a fourth consecutive year of underwriting profitability in 2022 despite catastrophe losses.
