Allstate swings to $1.3bn P&C UW gain in first UW profit since Q1 2022
Allstate recorded a $1.3bn P&C fourth quarter underwriting gain - a major turnaround from the $1.04bn loss it posted a year ago - and marking the first underwriting profit the insurer has posted since the first quarter in 2022.
