Allianz: Ukraine crisis “dashes hopes” of bumper year for industry growth
Global insurance premiums grew by 5.1 percent in 2021 thanks to strong economic tailwinds, rising risk awareness and booming markets, Allianz said in a new report, although it warned that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has “dashed” hopes for another bumper year of growth.
