AIG ordered to cover defence costs of former private security firm execs

A Southern District of New York judge has ruled that AIG has a duty to defend former executives of a private security services company in a D&O lawsuit alleging fraud related to the parent company’s acquisition, in a decision that the individuals’ lawyers declared reaffirms an insurers’ broad defence obligation.
