International Group hit by three $10mn+ Covid-19 pool claims
The 13 marine mutuals of the International Group of P&I Clubs have faced “thousands” of Covid-19-related claims, but CEO Nick Shaw has revealed only 16 have so far surpassed $1mn while three have entered the lower levels of the $90mn xs $10mn collective pool layer on the organisation’s excess of loss (XoL) reinsurance programme.
