Validus Re upgrade – an incremental positive…
After a challenging year for AIG’s reinsurance platform Validus Re, last night’s upgrade from A to A+ by S&P can only be seen as an incremental positive, and a sign that – in the ratings agency’s view at least – the business will play a core part in its parent’s profitable growth strategy going forwards.
