Brookfield Re to buy Argo in $1.1bn all-cash deal

Brookfield Reinsurance has agreed a deal to buy Argo in an all-cash transaction valued at around $1.1bn after this publication revealed the firm was among the final bidders for the Bermudian earlier this week.
