Andre McGregor

Partner & Global Head of Security, TLDR Capital. Former FBI Cyber Special Agent & Liaison to the United Nations

Andre McGregor manages the security practice for TLDR Capital, a global investment and advisory firm that specializes in blockchain tokenization projects and their interface with public markets. TLDR works closely with other leading service providers to ensure that blockchain project achieves its goals quickly and with minimum risk. He possesses deep knowledge of cyber-criminal and cyber-counter intelligence techniques used to attack computer networks and infrastructure.

Prior to joining TLDR Capital, Andre was Head of IT Security at Tanium, a multi-national cybersecurity software company, where he was responsible for security operations, engineering, incident response, and governance/risk/compliance of Tanium systems and networks worldwide.

Most notably, Andre recently served as an FBI Cyber Special Agent in New York City before being promoted to Supervisory Special Agent at FBI Headquarters in Washington DC. In his role at the FBI, Andre formed FBI New York’s first cyber national security squad focused on nation-state intrusions from China, Russia, and Iran while later supervising a squad dedicated to cyber terrorism. As a field agent, Andre led numerous large-scale computer intrusions ranging financial crimes to critical infrastructure protection and served for four years as the FBI Cyber Representative to the United Nations in charge of all UN-related cyber incidents and cases across the FBI. Additionally, Andre acted as an FBI Cyber technical liaison to DHS Cyber in Washington DC.

Before entering the FBI Academy at Quantico in 2009, Andre started his career at Brown University, Goldman Sachs, and Cardinal Health. Andre is a US Government certified incident responder who holds certifications as an Ethical Hacker, Penetration Tester, Malware Reverse Engineer, Digital Forensic Examiner and CISSP/GISP. Additionally, he is on the Board of Directors for the National Cybersecurity Center. In his free time, Andre is the technical consultant for the NBCUniversal TV show Mr. Robot.
