Nordic P&C carriers face “painful” Q1 as weather and large losses bite
The challenging weather across the Nordic region during the first quarter is expected to take its toll on the quarterly earnings of Tryg, Sampo and Gjensidige, with the latter forecast to post a “particularly painful” Q1 in light of its higher exposure to Norway.
