Argo ends drawn-out sale process with $1.1bn Brookfield Re deal
Bermudian reinsurance vehicle Brookfield Re has struck a watershed $1.1bn deal to acquire Argo, confirming The Insurer’s Tuesday report that the company was among the final bidders and ending a process filled with fits and starts that dragged on for over a year.
