Ryan: AM Best PA framework “controversial but as a principle I like it”
Speaking at the inaugural Program Manager Conference in New York today, Ryan Specialty founder, chairman and CEO Pat Ryan said he liked in “principle” AM Best’s new ratings for MGAs and delegated underwriting firms but acknowledged there were issues with the concept which he predicted will be ironed out over time.
