Generali shareholders back incumbent CEO Philippe Donnet’s re-election
After months of in-fighting, acrimony and legal threats, the battle for Generali was finally resolved at this morning’s annual general meeting in Trieste as current CEO Philippe Donnet was re-elected in a tight vote, seeing off the challenge of rebel investor Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone.
