Aon shares trade down 5% despite management hailing “strong” Q1 operating performance

Investors reacted negatively to a first quarter earnings miss from Aon, as the firm’s management emphasised what they described as “strong operational performance” and confidence that it will continue to drive results through 2023 and over the long term.
