Rehnberg: Argo's construction defect reserves upped by $77mn after claims “oscillation”
Argo’s Kevin Rehnberg has revealed that $77mn of the $132.3mn reserve strengthening in its US operations in the fourth quarter came from construction defect business, as the carrier saw an uptick in these claims in the third and fourth quarters.
