Axis Q2 operating income soars as results beat Wall Street estimates

Axis Capital ended 2021’s second quarter with operating income that more than doubled year on year and earnings that comfortably beat analysts’ estimates, with the Bermuda-based carrier confident that current pricing trends will remain above loss costs “well into 2022 and likely beyond”.
