Aviva GI posts Q1 CR of 96.4% as takes £70mn UK storm hit
Aviva has reported a general insurance (GI) combined ratio of 96.4 percent for the first quarter – compared with 90.6 percent in Q1 2021 – which the Amanda Blanc-led carrier said reflected a £70mn ($87mn) cost for the February storms as well as more normal motor claims frequency.
